This is my new favorite spot! Was never a fan of the place before Look Dear Sushi but after reading all the amazing reviews I decided to check it out with my teen who is a very picky eater. The waiter was a saint, attentive, polite, and helpful with suggestions. The atmosphere was so chill and quiet, relaxing, and good vibes. The ramen was out of this world!! The chicken melted in my mouth and was cooked to perfection. The food was so amazing that even my teenager who normally is terrified of sushi was open to trying the shrimp roll and gave me the thumbs up. 10 out of 10. Can't wait to go back and try everything else on the menu.

The best sushi I’ve ever had in New York, and Deer Sushi truly deserves its 5-star rating. At first, we couldn’t believe we’d find such an incredible spot in Brooklyn, but once we got the sushi, we devoured it in just 5 minutes—it was that delicious! The staff is incredibly polite, the atmosphere is clean and pleasant, and next time we’re definitely dining in. Their tea was also fantastic!

The new Japanese gem of the neighborhood All of their ingredients are fresh and delicious! The waiter and sushi chef provide top tier customer service. I almost wish they could expand so they’d have more seating space. Enjoy this honeymoon period while it lasts!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Look Deer Sushi , and it was an exceptional experience. The menu offers an impressive array of sushi options. I ordered the 4 pieces omakase Platter, which featured the freshest cuts of scallop, tuna and sea urchins, each piece melting in my mouth with exquisite flavor. The star of the meal was the OMG Roll – a perfect harmony of tuna, uni, and scallop, all wrapped in perfectly seasoned rice. The balance of flavors and textures was truly delightful. The fried rice was also very delicious. The service was outstanding; the staff were attentive. I can't wait to return and explore more of their delicious offerings!

After getting take out once, I decided to dine in at the restaurant. Chef Sam and our server Ben made some great recommendations. We ended up having some appetizers as well as a la carte items that were freshly delivered that day. For starters we had the Fried Shishamo and Hamachi Karma. These fried items were really well done and flavorful. I especially liked the Shishamo, it was my first time having that. Next we had a sashimi platter chosen by the Chef, see photo. For me, the stand out items were the fatty tuna and the tiger shrimp flown in from Hokkaido. Both of these just melted in the mouth. They even fried the shrimp head and let us try that, it was the first time trying that as well and it was very good. Next we moved on to a few a la carte nigiri, they all had their own unique flavors. We finished the meal with the "OMG Roll", from what I could tell it had some torched tuna on top with eel in the inside along with something else. The flavors worked really well on this one. Our server Ben was also really helpful and made our dinner very enjoyable. Thank you!

This place is absolutely amazing! I came here with family, including my 1 year old son. The waiter was so friendly and accommodating, and the food was incredible. I would definitely recommend coming here!
